  • Zac Miles

    SENIOR MINISTER

Zac grew up in Newcastle and Byron Bay. He was raised in a Christian household but had a pivotal moment at the age of 16 when he realised that all the joy he was seeking could only ultimately be found in Christ.

Zac graduated with a Bachelor or Arts (majoring in French and Philosophy) from Sydney University, and then a Diploma of Education (Secondary) from Australian Catholic University. After a ministry apprenticeship at Springwood Anglican, he completed the Bachelor of Divinity at Moore Theological College, and then served as an Assistant Minister at Menai Anglican in “the Shire” and Barrenjoey Anglican on the Northern Beaches of Sydney (now known as Pittwater Anglican).

In ministry, he believes that shallow discipleship and teaching is not enough in our post-Christian society. He believes in deep Bible teaching, systematic discipleship, thick community with a missional edge, contextualisation and the clear distinction of the gospel from its twin errors (legalism and antinomianism).

Zac is married to Amy and they have two sons, Jasper (2016) and Harvey (2018), and identical twin daughters Evelyn & Sienna (2021). He enjoys surfing, jogging, coffee, and learning anything he can.

  • Jono Ward

    ASSISTANT MINISTER

Jono came to faith early in life after hearing a talk on God's grace (Eph 2:3) on a youth camp. Ever since then, telling others about Jesus and the good news of eternal life has been a key part of Jono's life.

Jono studied a bachelor of arts at Wollongong University and spent three years doing a ministry apprenticeship in Shellharbour, south of Wollongong.

After completing a bachelor of divinity at Moore Theological College, Jono started as youth minister here at Holy Trinity. Since then, helping young people understand and live out the Gospel has been the focus of Jono's time with us. Jono is married to Carina and they have three children, Charlotte, Harry and Jack.

  • Bec Isbister

    Bec Isbister

    P/T WOMEN'S AND CHILDREN'S MINISTER

Bec grew up in country NSW and completed her schooling in Armidale. She was raised in a Christian family that pointed her towards God’s love. After questioning the credibility of the Bible in her teens, she came to believe that the bible is God’s inspired word, that points people to his love expressed in Jesus. Knowing God has become her greatest joy and hope through all seasons of life.

Bec studied a double degree in Arts (English and Psychology) and Social Work at Sydney University. While there, she began undertaking a Diploma of Theology at Mary Andrew’s College. Bec has been involved in children’s and women’s ministry while raising her children -Elizabeth, Hugh, Adelaide, Henry and Jane - alongside her husband, Graham.

Recently, Bec has competed a Graduate certificate in Pastoral Care for Mental Health and has now returned to studying a diploma of Ministry/Theology.
